Connect to your NY-Alert, V.I.-Alert, VT-Alert, or Rochester-Alert civilian user account and import your custom notifications and settings. Having an account is not required for using the iAlertz app.
The iAlertz app is provided by the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) and was developed in partnership with Buffalo Computer Graphics, Inc. and 911Next Corporation. Best of all, iAlertz is provided free to all citizens in order to help keep them, their families, and their property safe.
The information provided within this application is not intended to replace 911 in the event of a personal emergency or crisis. If you are in need of immediate police, fire, or medical attention, DIAL 911.
Great start for version 1.0. Nice to have emergency information no matter where I am in NYS.
This is a great idea to continuously improve NY Alert! A great system has gotten better!
The ability to find important locations around me is extremely easy. What used to take several google searches can now be done much more quickly.
Easy to use, very well designed and full of useful info and contacts needed in an emergency. Well done!
Need push notifications. What's the need for this app when there is know way to let you know when an emergency or something happens that you do not know about.
Great app NEEDS PUSH NOTIFICATIONS!!!!! I downloaded this awhile back an forgot I had it cause it never notifies me when there's an alert.. But if you don't mind checking all the time it's a good app.. Please make an update with push notifications
App crashed unless I turned off the GPS. Then when I wanted to search for alerts in my area, it wouldn't recognize any address'. Good concept and it would be highly rated..... IF it WORKED!
