I bought this and then they changed it afterwards so I couldn’t access the effects which was the whole reason I paid for the app. I feel robbed. One star :(

Lame, one trick pony & not worth a subscription

I had a subscription to this app for time. Not worth it. If you’re willing to buy a subscription, the video effects in the defekt video app are MUCH more innovative and interesting than the tired legacy effects in Hyperspektiv

I’ve used a variety of video and photo editing apps over the years, but this one really raises the bar. In addition to having intuitive controls and a seamless UI, I love the straight up psychedelic results you can create. Having the ability to see the effects in real-time inspires me while I’m in the creative flow. This app will take you as deep as you want to go when creating video and amazing photo art. I’ve even used it when shooting professional video. Hyperspektiv is truly revolutionary and fun.

I’ve been using this app for years, and as far as weird, high quality, easy, and interesting video and photo effects, it’s far above anything else I’ve seen. I’m a subscriber now and the new filters coming out constantly are amazing. It’s just a really fun tool to reach for to add a little touch of alternate reality to whatever you see around you. And the quality has been constantly improving since they launched!

Overwrite option after finding a wildcard

Would be nice to be able to save a new wildcard in one of the 3 slots on the free version. Like a long press to replace or delete. Maybe there’s a way to overwrite and I haven’t seen it. Plus every filter that wasn’t premium is not showing up. Are they really behind the paywall now?
