Awesome Language app!

This is a great app because it systematically approaches understanding Japanese language and hiragana in a way that is clear, and can be learned at your own pace. His approach demystifies the hiragana and i am excited to learn to read at the same time as speak. I work with Japanese patients and workers and it will be great to continue these studies because your format of instruction is so straightforward. I definitely recommend this app highly!

Love how it starts from the basics and works its way through so people who are just beginning to learn Japanese can better comprehend how it works. Very well written and easy to understand as the author explains each chapter step by step. One of the best language learning apps I've had!

The other apps I tried left me bored, confused, perplexed, and sometimes all three. I find this app to be incredibly educational about both Japan and the Japanese language. It even helped me confront my fear of hiragana. I use this app with Pimsleur recordings and the combination is about perfect.

It provides background information that helps you understand culture and explanations that are easy to follow. Whoever wrote this wrote their words in a careful way. Text is almost conversational. I love it.

I'm just starting out with Japanese and have tried a few other free courses, but this one is by far the easiest to understand! It has explained everything in an extremely comprehensive way, and I finally feel like I am getting somewhere with this language! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn Japanese.

こんにちは！ This app is great. If you're looking for a solid path to follow, you've found it. With this, you will have a quick and fun start to your Japanese journey, as I have so far. I will mention that some outside resources will help you a lot with learning kana. I tried the old fashioned way before, and ended up giving up for a long time. I recently tried Tofugu's Hiragana / Katakana, and have learned both syllabaries in only 1-2 days! Aside from that, once you learn kana this app flows very well from what I've seen. Very well done. A big thank you to the creators!
