Social Networking | Free | HUGGLE APP LIMITED | iPhone, iPad, iPod |
Huggle connects people (friendly or romantically) based on their interests and lifestyle!
Places:
Huggle automatically picks up your locations and adds them to your list of places. You can always delete places or add more places, by visiting locations physically or by importing them from Instagram and Foursquare.
Safety:
Huggle uses hyper-local technology and a one-minute photo verification process. Which means that nobody can fake their check-ins or identity.
See ya later Catfish and unwanted pics!

Not only did the app not find me even ONE SINGLE CONNECTION (the app claims to track location so it can tell you when you’ve crossed paths with a prospective match), but it also has a built in glitch in the form of a nagging “do you love Huggle? Rate us!” Pop up that appears after 15 or so seconds into using the app. Here’s the catch: no matter what star rating you give, the pop up won’t go away. You literally have to close the app and reopen it just to navigate it again, only to have the pop up appear again after another 15 seconds or so.
I currently cannot even use the app as the AppStore review pop up keeps freezing the app.
Wish there was an option to pick only interested in relationships. I understand that it’s for meeting people for friends. But they also advertise it as being a dating site too. After all there’s a little icon underneath the picture indicating whether or not someone is looking for friends. They should do more with this and let you have an icon for dating.
The whole app is based around places you visit frequently, but you can’t add 90% of the places you go manually, because the app can’t find them. Instead, they link to random places you’ve checked in from years ago - 7 Eleven, random gas station, I don’t even remember checking into any of these places. They can’t even find Manhattan, or any of the major facilities I frequent. Quite embarrassing.
Like at least show me people in the same state. Like Texas? That’s far even for a first date
Like the idea and the intro video as well! But please remove Facebook sign up, I don't want to use it to sign up. Other than that am excited to try this app!
These guys have done a good job with this app. It's really easy to use, and it gives you a lot of flexibility about who, what, where, how you would like to meet people or see or be seen. I think the geolocation feature being incorporated is especially interesting and useful. I can only imagine where it can go from here.
It is a great idea to make people get closer, I should recommend it on my Facebook.
