I am so glad that the HP 15C calculator app is now available on iOS 11. It's my favorite calculator app, and it's absolutely faithful to the original.

Sept. 20, 2016 - updated ———————————— Just upgraded to iOS 11 and was pleasantly surprised to see a 64-bit app for the 15c. I don’t mind eating a little crow, even if my alarm at how HP waited until the last minute. Having said that, I bumped it back up to 3 stars because the landscape lock in Settings is not being adhered to by the app: it starts in portrait mode but as long as the app is not closed out, selecting the app again while in another app, retains the landscape mode regardless of how the 6s is held. Toggling the settings on and off does not change improve this behavior. Regardless, I am happy the app is still working on iOS 11. Sept. 18, 2017 Updated Review ------------------------------- iOS 11 is about to be released and the app has not been updated to 64-bit despite the lead time they've had to do so. Sure feels like HP is about to BOHICA its users by not updating the app. Downgraded the rating to one star; should be negative five at this point. If history is any guide, they will most likely wait until this version stops working – as in iOS 11 is installed – and then bring out a “Version 3” of their app with a new pricing scheme for same micro-code but enabled for 64-bit environment. Nice hook … Giving it a 3 because it took some effort to find a way to contact support. Even then, I had to fake a serial number just to get that number because I didn’t want to have to bounced back and forth a la Laurel & Hardy’s “Who’s on first?” schtick. Tech was nice enough to pretend to care but to describe his reaction to my concern as … sublime … is … charitable. HP makes great products – my real-life 15C is still working after almost 3 decades – and I cherish the fact that I have an HP emulator on my 6s. I honestly exert more effort to realign my thought processes to use a non-RPN calculator. LOL! Customer service – I’m not asking for world peace – is still the differentiator. Original or not, your competitors are knocking on your door, HP. I would hate for you to become another Kodak …

Love this app! It's the closest thing I've found to my dearly departed hardware 15C. Thank you for updating this app so it will continue to work in 64-bit mode!

This is my go-to calculator app on my iPhone and iPad. I was expecting to have to find something else once I realized it didn’t work on the late beta software. At home I grab my hardware 15C for most things, this is the next best option. Thanks for updating it!
