Great app, annoying ads

This update now include annoying banner ads in forum. Why, oh why, do I ever update these apps?!?!
Spammed with push notifications

A whole day will go by with no push notifications and then suddenly I get an onslaught of them. Sometimes they are spam or in hieroglyphics. It would be nice if the push not's were relevant to the threads I am active in, not spam posts.
Can't do nothin, literally.

It won't let me sign up at all. Not on tapatalk, hofo app or on the website.
App stopped giving me subscription notifications

After the most recent updates, my subscription notifications won't update. I'm still seeing old stuff from 8/10/15. But when I go to browse and go into an individual forum, I can see newer threads.... What the heck happened?? This is definitely annoying.
