A beautiful reference on the inner workings of a car, including teardown illustrations of complex car components which you can literally peel away the layers to see inside. With over 800 full color illustrations and 250 detailed articles, this is the ideal reference for everyone from DIY mechanics and classic car enthusiasts up to professionals.
This is a great tool for anyone looking for help with automotive repair or for just learning about the different systems that cars need to operate. The pictures and tear downs are helpful for visual learners.
Provides lots of diagrams and illustrations but nothing you can't find at the library. Also, all the information is general. Books with detail on your specific model can be checked out at the library. I'm disappointed that the app don't take advantage of the automation potential of computers. It's a start guys but you'll need to do far better than this to get another $.99 from me.
I know absolutely nothing about cars and this has single handedly help me learn a lot more. If you are a person who is wanting to get into cars and don't know where to start, this is a great place to start. Lots of information and it's broken down pretty well. Love it
Love the layout. I'm a huge car nut but haven't taken the time to learn everything about cars. I'm building the DF Goblin Kit Car so this is exactly what I need to optimize the performance of my race car
Great app for learning. But could you add turbo, supercharged, and body kits to the app. Awesome overall
I downloaded the app the problem is you're not able to put in your make, model, Year or type of car you have. Foreign cars would be different from American cars older cars would be different from Newer cars. So you guys need to add an option to put in your make model and year of car to give you the right information. I may be a woman but I had a father and brothers that worked on cars so I'm pretty car savvy.
Very good app for learning about cars. More importantly though, a lot of the stuff that is produced by these guys is great for learning about cars, which is surprisingly difficult in the age of the internet. Overall I would recommend you also get the videos these guys make, along with the book "Auto Repair for Dummies", which is really the only other source you need to understand how cars work (don't be throw off by the word "Repair" in the title).
