As a very impatient person and one who lives for his customers...Laura and the team have pushed my business to yet another level, items we sometimes take for granted! As a consumer or business, I can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t use this team! I always reference my window presentation as my showstopper, that’s actually Laura and her consistent availability, if she can’t do it, my after hours crew always get it done!!! This is a true moneymaker !

Great app! Super simple to use and great support! I would recommend to any contractor that does exterior work! Only reason I am giving a 4 star is because I would like to see the feature of adding pictures to the notes. That way you could get a materials quote and add it to the job working hover by taking a picture of it then putting it in the notes section.

Right idea...but falls short in too many ways

Surprisingly Disappointed

It’s okay for very basic early stage estimation. The accuracy vs other tools and lasers is off considerably. The VERY BIG MISSES are: pro version isn’t able to be shared with clients. That basically makes it useless as a tool to set you apart from others. The design feature doesn’t look as good as tools that cost very little to buy and don’t have the per project fees Hover does. And it doesn’t function very well on detail design. The color pallets are way off too. The other very bad thing is that they only give you one design you can save. So you’ll need another tool on top of this one for sure. It’s basically just a measuring tool that gives you a +/- 5% measurement. The service team which seems to be nice people, didn’t know the pro limitations until I told them. That seems to me that someone in development launched the product too early and they couldn’t figure out how to deliver the obvious pro features that would make it worthwhile. I do mostly 4,000-10,000 sqft homes. What you get on those is worth $20-30, but it costs $116 per house. And they give you no storage so your work goes away after some time. Lastly, when using your phone to start the project, it won’t allow your camera to zoom in and out. So, if you don’t have a large yard with no trees, shrubs, etc within 40-50 feet of the house, it’s not worth using. Basically a super idea but it’s overpriced and under-equipped

I was very impressed with this app. It will allow me to go over designs and colors with our customers. It gives you drawings that will be useful in obtaining permits. It also gives you measurements that are good enough to place an estimate with confidence, no short selling, and no “did I accurately measure everything?” moments. It also will save me a lot of time preparing my estimate by having a comprehensive list of all materials. I hope this is here to stay!

This app is amazing when it works! I loaded my pictures of my house. I waited and in a few days my house of a virtual image that I could edit. I opened it a few days later and my house was “working” and unable to see and edit. This goes back and forth....never know what you’re going to get!!! It’s great when it works.....but that’s maybe 50% of the time if you’re lucky!

I don’t know how they do it, but it just seems to work every single time. Every adjuster and roofer should use this app on every single exterior investigation that they do. I am definitely drinking the Kool-Aid that they are pouring.
