Expensive, Ridiculous Game with Poor Taste

I like the app but Players do not follow guidelines or rewards those who do. Players who decorate with rustic, contemporary, modern etc items are not voted by other players as doing a good job while other players who do as they please are selected as an excellent design. Players rarely vote for rooms using colors tend to reward all black/white rooms. In order to garner enough votes to win a prize you have to buy expensive items to decorate your room. The game has charged me for expensive items and then not given them to me. Had to write the game to be reimbursed. Although I was reimbursed, it made me wonder how many problems I may have missed with a large inventory of decorative items. Many of their designs seem to only be geared to use up as much expensive inventory as possible such as holiday items, art, rugs etc.

Please update the mobile app so that users with apple software 9.3.5 can download it instead of being forced to use the website only. I'm giving the app 2 stars due to this issue.

I hope to one day own my own home, and in preparation for my new home, HOUZZ has been a wellspring of Windows to look in, it allows me to see every room in my house. THANK YOU for creating such an informative site, with your information and design I know my new home will be everything, 'I ever wanted', because I had an opportunity to window shop first on HOUZZ!

I use this app when ever I start a new project. We are completely remodeling the landscaping and interior of our recently purchased house and the thousands of photo help me narrow down what I like and what I don't like. After I save a dozen photo in my idea book, I show my husband and tell him, "make it just like this". And he does. Thank you Houzz for helping me visualize my completed projects before I even start.
