Cast not working

The chrome cast option stopped showing my tv in the list of devices. It says connect to a nearby device and asks the access to my microphone, after I give the access it struggles for a while to connect and then shuts down.

False Advertising

They display Game of Thrones as the first screenshot on their preview page in the AppStore but there is no GoT content on HotStar. It’s false advertising obviously. They are using HBO’s logo and it’s high quality content lije GoT to sell their services when they don’t even have ANY HBO content to offer in their “premium” service.

I have summed up some issues I faced: - stops in the middle abruptly - login needed every time you open the app - Ads are shown even after we’ve made a payment for the subscription(this is actually the worse thing) - No sync in devices - sometimes slow and gets completely stuck I wonder how seriously these reviews will be taken, I assure you guys, please take the feedback and work on it, the profits are bound to soar, please stop taking advantage of the people who are willing paying for stuff that is freely available on the internet with a private vpn.

The one thing that annoys me the most is every time I get out of the app and get back in, the app requires me to login again. It’s ridiculous. Even banking applications save login information. Why can’t Hotstar do the same? The next problem I have is the cast function doesn’t work 9 out of 10 times. I end up watching on my phone. Terrible app

Bad video quality

The App is pretty good, how ever the video quality is not Good, especially if you are streaming IPL matches. I expect HD video quality for this price. I would have give it 2.5 but Apple does not allow me to do it.

No live channels & not all shows are available

Even though it is charging 10$ month, there is no live channel streaming, not all shows are available and needs lot of improvement wrt application for fire stick, windows app. Hope they ll work on these soon...

Hotstar has great contents from all over India. I really enjoy watching Malayalam movies which in my mind are the best in India. However, the organization of episodes for series is bad. They are out of sequence. I think in terms of organization they should look nowhere than Netflix. Also they should improve their recommendation list.

I just wish that the content was accessible in more countries as it really isn’t fair to those living abroad. Not half bad though.
