Upsell fever!

It's a decent app, BUT it's pestered me with its "upsell" routine one too many times now, and without providing a way to turn that off. Downvoted by two stars. Deleting.
Odd use of notifications

Honestly, I find that I never look at this app, and the only time it has sent me push notifications were for two things: 1. For the last WWDC it sent notifications; 2. It sent notifications tonight to tell me it was updating itself. Other than those two things, there have been no notifications at all. For these reasons, I am deleting the app.
Lacking or not new news...

Tried several sites, always seemed like the news wasn't new. I kept thinking that I might b missing something but wasn't able see what the allure to this app is.

Can't restore in iOS 7
