I have multiple calculators loaded with data but Hornady’s is the one I always end up using. Well designed and intuitive. Provides what I need to ding long range steel or make the hunting shot on target

Great app but there’s a design choice that I consider incorrect, which is that they reverse the arrow AND magnitude polarity going from left to right or the reverse which confused me until I thought about it. In other words if you’re pointing right with an arrow with a positive number then it’s increasing right, if you change the positive number to a negative number than it’s increasing left, but they both change the arrow AND change the magnitude which means it’s always increasing to the right or increasing come up for elevation.

The hornady ballistic calculator is fast and accurate. Once I started using this tool in combination with my redfield raider 600a rangefinder I discovered that many of my guess estimations were 30% +/- in error.
