Not the upgrade I was hoping for

Tanglebrook

I used Horizon for a year before switching to the official Google Calendar app, and I loved it. It had a nice condensed view of your appointments, and the natural language input was convenient and reliable. And my main complaint about it wasn't necessarily their fault - adding and deleting appointments on desktop would be slow to update on the app. This seemed more like a problem with how Apple handled its calendar data than something wrong with Horizon. So after I switched to Google Calendar (which has a condensed view of your appointments, natural language input AND updates appointments immediately), I heard there was an overhaul to Horizon being released soon and I was eager to see what they had come up with. Well, the nice condensed view of your appointments is gone. You end up seeing every empty day in a list like I hate about every other app. The visuals are different, but I wouldn't say they've improved, and those are the biggest change that I could find. It's a little harder to open an appointment now that it takes 2 taps instead of 1. And it still takes forever to update the calendar if you change something on another device, which is still a huge frustration. I don't know if it's an option, but if Horizon had Google login built in instead of pulling data from the iPhone calendar it would probably fix this. The official Google Calendar app has Google login, and it's still the best calendar I've used. But the original Horizon is a close second. I was really hoping for something special here in this update, but after a look around, it's somewhat worse and ad supported now. Sorry guys.

Horrible App Don't Buy

Zach psu

I got this app in an effort to quell my issues with disorganization, as I am a very busy individual. However, once I downloaded the app, I realized that it was nowhere near the caliber of an app worth 5 bucks, hell I wouldn't have even got it if it was free. If you were to say there is a bug infestation it would be an understatement. I was disappointed the most because of this app's potential and ensuing failure with its "natural language" feature. I have heard Fantastical is pretty mediocre, I guess I'll have to settle.

Crashes and No Google support

Pick Perfect

Well designed, but poor experience and not worth upgrade price.

Most Excellent

This app pulled from both my work and personal calendars and blended them beautifully. The weather integration will come in handy now that patio season has hit. A+!!

Deleted this app just right after I install it

The app is horrible Natural input barely works 5 dollars is such a steep price for the app that is even much worse than default calendar app. Horrible.

Best Calendar App

ReedR95

Horizon is the best calendar app hands down. Smart search has become essential to my daily workflow. Also, the icon is killer. Keep doing what you're doing

Doesn’t work

For some reason I cannot create any events and the app is pretty confusing, I don’t get why the toolbar at the bottom is so cluttered. 4.99 for the upgrade is just way too much.

No thanks! I'll stick with Google Calendar for iOS.

Changed my life.

This calendar app is so advanced and intuitive, not not only am I more productive, it allowed me to bend space time so that i now have 35 hours in a day. It also gave me a six pack. You must get this app.

Can’t even use it

The icon and the design are the best things about this app. I am unable to even use it. On top of that I cannot sync it with my iPad and MacBook.
