Cant download many titles

Used to love this app, but now when I press ‘borrow’ nothing happens. I can’t even report the error in the app either.

Not sure if any one else have this issue. But no matter what book i access, first line on the page is trimmed. But the rest looks fine.

It is so nice to have books and media available without having to buy them! Not only do I use this app on a daily basis but so do my kids.

Great site/Good app with caveats

Great selections for movies, audio and e-books. If you use rental services for movies, audio books and e-books, you should check here first to see what is available and save your money. Because they only allow 12 items per month, I feel that any item returned before the allotted time frame should free the space for selecting another book/movie in its place. This is especially important for movies and series or episodes. They allow 3 days for movies and episodes/series but if you are watching episodes of more than 12, you have to wait till the next month. It would be better to return the episode or movie and check out another to replace it while still keeping the total number at 12 per month. For this reason, I dropped a star but otherwise, no complaints. They just need to consider that watching something that has more than 12 episodes (Great Courses has 30) would be more serviceable with returns equaling an exchange that keeps the number quota per month. Another factor in the returns equal exchange in monthly allotment is the usefulness in returning something you don’t care for without being penalized for using one of my 12. Also, Not being able to preview a movie or sample an audio or e-book how would I know if I want to keep it? If the audio narrator sounds horrible or a movie or audio book is not to my liking and I return it, I feel that I’ve wasted my monthly allotment . Would really like to see something implemented about the options given.

Frozen!

I would absolutely give five stars, but the app has begun to freeze too many times. It is currently frozen on my iPhone and on my iPad and nothing I do will unfreeze it. I’m trying to read to four children. Very disappointing.

Love reading books from my library as ebooks! The program is generally great but can be a little buggy. Sometimes freezes. Frequently skips to the end of a chapter and I have to go back page by page, etc. Hope they fix that! But I LOVE that it syncs across devices. That is awesome!

Love the Hoopla Database, especially for finding a great nighttime story, for a child. Has a very wide variety of books and cater to all interest.

This is what 21st century access to the library should look like. Just be sure and borrow early before your library’s daily quota is filled.
