Homophone Match is a great game. The graphics make the matching fun. Instant reward for feedback. Teaches kids the different spellings of similar sounding words. Good reinforcement.

I showed this game to my kids, and for the first time in months, the xbox went unused for a whole day. Then a second day. I'm afraid to tell them it's educational, but I wonder if winning words has made the xbox obsolete in our house

Homophone Match is another "winner"for Winning Words!....a super method to teach students sound-alike words with different spellings in a unique game format....there is instant, positive reinforcement for successful matches with great graphics & "fireworks" sounds....terrific fun for kids & adults...keeps you focused while improving memory function!

The app crashes every time I press start to run a game, so I can't even test it out.
sound effects and delay are too distracting

These match games would be fine, but unfortunately are unplayable for me due to a repetitive booming fireworks graphic animation performed with every match made. If the time-consuming and loud display were reserved for the end of the game, it would be endurable.

The game play is too unresponsive and far too slow to be enjoyable. Can't make selections until the fireworks end? Really, developer needs to dump the visuals and allow selections immediately. At least make some options in settings so people have a choice. Also, get rid of the tile flip lags that make this a boring game. Tile flips are way to slow. Oh, and consider doing the same for your other similar games. I got this when it was free, and would not have paid money for it as it currently plays. I am off to delete it..
