The URL setup is wonky as all get out. I can’t set it up to use both an external and internal URL. Whatever I put into internal just gets deleted. It doesn’t even appear to really try to connect. Using SSL/TLS. Please fix this. Additionally, to change the URL, you have to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Not optimal from a UX perspective.
Unable to use the app

Ever since my Nabu Casa trial ended, the companion app won’t open and it throws URL Unavailable errors that it’s expecting an external URL. Deleting the app and reinstalling doesn’t work. I made sure it’s uninstalled from the Apple Watch and even did a fresh install of Home Assistant core. The app works on my other iOS devices so there must be some setup cached from prior installations that survives reboots and uninstalls. I’m unable to perform a hard reset on my phone because of work related apps.
This has made some amazing progress!

I tried this went it first came out, but this version is outstanding. I love the fact I don’t have to go thru a complex setup as in the early version I had. The tracking is very nice, I want to explore this a bit more. Great Job!
A 5 star app now mostly broken

I will update my review to 5 as soon as the application is fixed. iOS update broke this app and there has been no acknowledgement from developer. Hope everything is okay.

Once you outgrow your smartthings and wink cloud dependent automations and eco system, you will move to host your own. Home-assistant is the most versatile platform to do this. Countless integrations with other technologies and community supported as well. It can stitch together many dislike automation technologies . As of this review still pre 1.0 so you must bring some technical chops along to work with it or the desire to learn as you adopt a new technology.

App crashes at startup

Unable to use this Home Assistant app at this time due to it crashing at startup. The app runs great on Android and I look forward to same functionality for iOS. Will update review after developer fixes this issue.
