Some great shows but viewer needs TONs of work

It’s great to be able to watch Vikings to catch up but with so many commercials, and the app/video playback crashing randomly (so you have to watch repeated commercials) it can take 75 plus minutes to get through an episode. It starts to make it frustrating to watch the show and not worth the effort. The playback viewer needs a lot of work including compatibility with Apple TV and continuous playback while the phone is locked besides the crashing/ failing issues. All in all just over a score of don’t even bother. If it’s your only way to watch the new season, have your stress ball at the ready.

To many commercials

I absolutely love watching the history channel. But having four to five sets of 10-14 commercials on average within one episode of a show is completely ridiculous. Thanks for the great app, but I’ll be deleting it due to the quantity of commercials. It’s just too much, thanks for ruining your app for me.

It is great app. One is the adds. They will pop every 10min and their are three in a row. It doesn’t sound that annoying but it is. Also it’s very pay to watch, but that’s probably normal.

Good app, you can watch full free episodes of the History Channel series. There are some commercials, since is free is understandable otherwise you’d have to pay

Wish I could of seen all the years of Vikings, but I got hooked on some of the previous years a couple of years ago. Love Ancient Aliens, Pickers and all your other shows. Keep up the great broadcasting.

I would love to stream some of your shows but you don’t offer sling as a tv provider in the history.com/activate page. I’ve reached out to the history channel page before in the contact part and I was told they are adding providers all the time. When will sling be added

Commercials... if you pay for cable TV or watch broadcast TV they will exist. Here on the app they seem to be shorter and that’s a little better. App... could I pay an access fee for a higher level of app that would get rid of commercials? Subscription... could the higher level of app without commercials also not require a TV subscription? I don’t have cable. Don’t want it either and am quite willing to pay for an app subscription that would give me the access to content that I want while not having commercials. Would gladly settle for reduced commercials on the higher level app. Just don’t require me to get a cable bill. Thanks for great content!

Shows are never listed

This literally happens every week. I watch curse of oak island on Wednesday along with the new episode of kings of pain. When I click on the show it says 9 episodes but only 6 are listed for Kings of Pain and it does the exact same to the other show. You need to fix this it is unbelievably annoying and I’m about to delete it.

Although, a lot of what’s told is untrue or not told correctly. The one that bothers me the most is, what America coined as, “Thanksgiving”. When I was in grade school it showed the pilgrims(puritains) sitting down with the Native People having food celebrating what??? When I’m true it should’ve been coined as THANKSTAKING because it was a HOLOCAUST in which too many to number native people were killed, and women raped and giving deadly sexually transmitted disease with no cure in those times, and the lucky ones was captured and sold into slavery and this is one of the biggest lies told of my time. Nonetheless, I appreciate the channel now because a lot of the truth is being conveyed now and this channel airs it and I am thankful to have witnessed this in my lifetime. THANK YOU, HISTORY CHANNEL YOU ARE APPRECIATED
