Very cool to find some places nearby that I never knew were there.

Works great on the Apple Watch too. But I get quite a few alerts... My only complaint is it KEEPS REMINDING me about the SAME places over and over. I live by a few and can’t tell you how often it reminds me. I have the app set to ‘always' but that only appears to show you updates no more than once every 30 minutes, if I turn it off, I don’t get to see interesting places 29 minutes from my house since it won’t alert me again. I’d like to mark locations with a don’t remind me about this place for at least a year (or never!). Or geofence off some areas to not alert me about (I think I’d like to mark items off as never more than specific aareas).

This app is genuinely worthy of space on your phone. It can really open your eyes to what's around you, even in your own backyard. It’s better than the TV station because it’s not full of reality TV crap. And the best part: it's genuinely free; no nickel-and-dime nonsense and do stupidly annoying bait-and-switch in-app purchasing nonsense. So how can it possibly not be worth a go?
