No way to end the game

Supposedly when the kid finds the phone they get stars, but I haven't been able to figure out how to let the game know the phone has been found. We found the phone and tapped the screen but the monkey just kept making noise, tried moving the phone, shaking it, swiping the screen in different directions but nothing worked. I tried closing the app and going back to the directions but it doesn't mention how to end the game, it just ends with finding the phone but no info on how the game knows the phone has been found. Seems like a great way to get us up and moving about when we are stuck in he house if it worked.
