Don’t buy this app if you want to use on phone

I paid $25 for the largest number of questions on this app. It crashes every two seconds, so I finally gave up on the app and only used the desktop version.

Waste of money

For the love of god dont pay $25 for this. The other reviews that say that the app isn’t functional and constantly crashes are right, and I even had some trouble using this on the desktop! What really helped me was the Hesi A2 Nursing Exam Mastery app. I took my exam this morning and some of the questions from the app (specifically on the AP, vocab, and biology sections) were word for word on the test!!! This app 100% pales in comparison.

Feeling great about it

While im getting ready for the test using my Hesi A2 book, and im taking some exam or practice on the app .I feel like having multiple exams from the book. It helps me a lot and everywhere i go even if i dont have my book i still can learn something new every second. LOL hopefully i pass my test and so do you. Good luck guys I recommend u to buy this app.

My update

Well, I will have to take back my initial review of this app, it wasn’t very fair. I have taken the exam and happy with the result. I made 90 and above in all sections except for Reading where I made 84. I will say it helped me because it gave me the opportunity to practice all I have studied, especially because most of the questions were based on the Evolve study guide. However, I think the app is too expensive.

Do not purchase

** UPDATE** because I could not use the app I purchased the hesi book made by elsevier and it had some similar questions as the app HOWEVER the answers are wrong on the app. So disappointed in this app. I purchased all the questions for 26$ and the app doesn’t even work. It’s super slow and keeps crashing. I can’t even use it, do not waste your money

Worth every penny!!

To be honest, I was hesitant to spend the money on this app. I took the Hesi last month and while I did very well on most sections, I barely passed A&P.....75% was needed and I scored a 76%. You are allowed to take the exam twice for my school so I rescheduled and stumbled across pocket prep. Using this app and only this app, I went thru all 1,500+ questions over and over for about a month. Went in this week to retest and scored a 96%!!! Couldn’t be happier!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Continuous Crashing

I love this app but i cannot ever open it without it crashing. i can’t see my progress on the tests even though i paid for the whole app which was $27. super annoying how it won’t load properly but has great questions

I don’t like that this app makes you like their page on FB and post their app in order to unlock more questions.

Get this app!

I love this app because I had the opportunity to study anywhere for the HESI exam. I got an 85 on my first shot at the HESI entrance exam! Don’t rely on solely this app to get your grades up because overall it’s important to review the material with a hesi book before you try the questions on the pocket prep app. The exam tests your thorough knowledge on basic concepts in Chemistry, Biology, etc! This app just highlights those concepts you should know

Helped me crush the HESI

The program I’m applying to only requires the math, reading, grammar, and vocabulary sections of the HESI. I used the Elsevier book to review (hadn’t had a math class since...let’s just say it’s been a long time) and purchased this app to practice. I went all in and bought the Cadillac version with tons of questions and don’t regret it for a second. Between the book and this app I scored a 99% cumulative on my HESI. Pocket Prep has been my constant companion since I registered to take my exam a few months ago and I’m a little sad to delete it from my phone, but I owe it a debt of gratitude. That’ll do, app. That’ll do.
