One of the best turn based games for mobile

I have been playing the games since the early days and still find myself coming back whenever there is a plot update. The characters are well written and the plot engaging. The different strategic scenarios and the tactics are varied and keep me thinking. We did have to wait a year for the climax but now that it is out I am back. Waited to write my review until the final plot release. Would have rated it 5 stars but the latest updated crashes the game just as it loads the final sanctum. I have been waiting 5 years for this and now I will have to wait for a patch.

I was unaware that half the characters would be locked behind a paywall. $2 each character which means to unlock the full game, you’re paying for the game three times over. I don’t support this method of cash grab. Requesting refund.

Enemies level with you

All enemies level with you, meaning there’s no sense of growth or progress. I enjoyed the game until I realized this but quit playing almost immediately afterward as every battle felt pointless. I honestly don’t understand this gameplay choice but at the least they could have made an option to turn it off. Instead it defeats the entire point of rpgs for me. If this issue doesn’t bother you then you may enjoy the game, it’s got fairly decent combat and the dialogue is well written for an app of this budget. It’s partly why I think the enemy leveling bothers me as much as it does; otherwise it would have been a very good tactical rpg.

If you like fantasy rpgs then definitely get this game! It’s got an awesome story and fun rewarding turn-based gameplay . This is the first game I played by Trese Brothers and it’s definitely my favorite. So far I haven’t played a game by these guys that I didn’t like, Trese Brothers are just awesome and I love to support them. I have bought this game and all characters/episodes on android and iOS and I did the same with a few of their other games. They are not out to get rich, just make awesome rpgs and they constantly update their games and are friendly and quick to respond to customers. I have so much respect for them. Thanks for being Awesome and making great games! You guys are my heroes! ?

This game is amazing. For $5, it’s extraordinary... we would’ve paid $50 for games like this a while back. It’s long, the dialogue is well-written (this alone makes this game unique in the App Store universe) and it’s a great strategy game. I play way too many games on my iPad... and this was the first big pleasant surprise I’ve had in quite a while. The App Store seems to be stagnant these days. As for the dude who rated it low because enemies level with you... wow, what a d-bag. Every RPG is designed around enemies getting harder as you level up. I just had to say it. Creators, you guys rock! I’ll keep an eye on the company!

Great game! Some small bugs to fix

I love this, it’s complex and big and not too difficult to get into, etc. But it crashes a bit, and there are lots of minor glitches, such as getting a “danger” reading from exploring or far-sight spells when actually it’s just a treasure chest or gem.

Thoroughly enjoying RPG entertainment! Well balanced gameplay that keeps me excited to see what’s next... my only complaint is my thief has a bit of a hearing issue!
