For fans of the tower/castle defense genre, this is a great game. While the goal is simple, there are different paths to success, different levels of difficulty and different maps that give it a lot of replay value.

Hero defense is a "tower defense" type of game in which you control a hero who is trying to protect the castle from crazy dwarfs. The user gets to pick which abilities the hero knows before the battle, as well as difficulty making every encounter uniquely fun. The feature I loved the most is that your hero gains levels as he hacks and slashes through the infinity amount of dwarfs. Great game, probably the best free game I ever played.

Overall a good app that offers quite a bit out of the box. Still disappointing that you have to pay to remove ads from it as well. Yo also kinda get the feeling of being nickeled and dimed in with all the extras that could had been included in the beginning.

I've played a lot of free games, most aren't even close to this good. A couple of levels and difficulty, definitely a five star game for free. Well worth checking out and great game.
