Reviews

Poorly Executed
misnomer

The authors should look at Bloomberg Businessweek+, Flipboard, and even The Daily for ideas on a better execution. In this case, you should stick with the free website. The app has outdated navigation and content refresh is handled poorly.

Extremely Impressed!
Mattyzed

This update is an impressive step up in line with other highly rated magazine type layouts. (Flipboard, Currents & Zite). You only need to download and read what interests you and a 7pm edition wraps up the day nicely. What I really like is the ability to also read the paper in its standard format. The zoom in and read works well. Highly recommend.

Ugly interface, you need an account
riggins11

Quite ugly and you need an account to view articles. Design - ugly, learn from the sydney morning herald, it's awesome!

Most frustrating app ever
SV391424

This would have to be the worst newspaper app ever, constant crashes, unable to load current newspaper etc. Waste of Money.

Hate the App love your paper
rob8899

I love to wake up in the morning and read your paper. Wish the app didn't freeze and refuse to down load all the time. Guys fix the bugs!

Price Increase? Adios!
JimF75029

Not sure what the logic is behind the tripling of the monthly price--significantly higher than any other comparable e-paper--but I cancelled my subscription this afternoon. Very disappointed.

Shocking start to the day
10ismaldives

Downloaded the app, restarted the Ipad, then did it again, no joy, it kept reverting me back to the down load page. Still not working....

Unable to read offline
Essgee007

I anticipated that if I download the paper at home, I should be able to then read it offline on the bus or train but stupidly, the app wants to reconnect online before allowing you to open the app. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. Why bother having the download feature at all. Please fix. The Age and Sydney Morning Herald do not have this problem.
