Desktop is robust but app needs work

I use this daily for my job on my laptop. I downloaded the app for the convenience if mobility... however one major issue is assigning tickets. On the desktop version, I can assign just fine. In the mobile app, it let me assign the first ticket... but after that, all the assign names were gone... so back to the desktop I go. It’s also missing an easy view of unreads/active tickets. That would be helpful to have.


Great but notifications are amiss

It does what it’s supposed to do, however my biggest issue is notifications. Yes I have all of the right settings turned on. I have to physically go into the app in order to see any messages and more often than not I miss them by several hours. Rendering my customer service to be poor. I’d love for badge icons to be set at the very least!

So happy to see this app improved on. Hope we get more feature parity next. The speed improvement is great though!

Original Post: I was forced to update the app. Now, it won’t even open. It simply crashes every time. I relied on the app extensively due to travel. I hope this gets fixed soon. After reading other reviews, I deleted the app and then reinstalled it. No luck. It still won’t open. Update: Thank you for the update. I can now open and use the app once again. Thank you for your reply and correcting the issue.


Useless and buggy

Buggy - regularly fails and crashes Confusing - similar looking but very different than web app Lacking features - no web chat support still - REALLY? ? I have better experiences with free ticketing software. I feel like my employer is getting completely ripped off with the high price of this service given the constant troubles and lack of features in the Android and iOS apps. Even if it worked perfectly, you have to go to the website for half the things you want to do so it is genuinely a frustrating and useless endeavor to use this app.

Thank you for the constant app improvement! When I first started using HelpScout on the iPhone it crashed all the time , now it’s like I’m almost sitting at my computer using the web interface! You folks rock !!
