Unplayable due to bad controls

cstawarz

My wife and I spent about five minutes wrestling with the terrible movement controls before quitting in utter frustration. Here's a tip for the developers, who apparently have never used an iOS app before: When I swipe my finger across the screen from right to left, the scene should pan to the *right*, not to the left! Also, using standard pinch gestures for zooming would be a hell of a lot more usable than the stupid onscreen joystick. In its current state, the game simply isn't playable. It's a shame, because the graphics are excellent.

Good first person puzzle game.

The controls take some getting use to, but they be come intuitive quickly. The puzzles are reasonably challenging and the hints give just enough information to not completely spoil the puzzle. There are a few map bugs where you can get stuck or fall into a hole. Overall a good game that you can move through reasonably without tap hunting or being frustrated by dying too many times.

Ok...

Very well do graphics, and amazing puzzles. But the story line is A bit of a cliché and is hard to Control for smaller devices. That and is about four hours of gameplay.

Fantastic game

Plain and simple it's easily my favorite game to play on the phone and I can't wait for the next chambers to come out! I highly recommend it for people that like puzzle games with a good story line.

Absolutely awful. I thought the reviews about the navigation were just people who didn't get it. No it is unplayable. The designers need to get an iPhone and learn about UX. I feel totally ripped off. The worst experience I have had in iOS ever.

It's ok

It'd be a lot better if you would release the pc version instead.

Developers need to update immediately

The game refuses to run on my iPad Pro (just freezes on main screen); so now asking apple for a refund...if the devs ever update/fix I would consider rebuying

Nothing To Hate About This Game. Awesome!

ScottFin

Has this game been abandoned? I can't get the update. I found all the shards and got no reward. To everyone who hates this game or is having difficulties, this is an awesome game. The Unreal Engine is put to the test in this game. On the beam, you have to keep your device tilted to the right before you click the sparkles, and then just keep moving it slowly back and forth and then qucikly back and forth. You may have to hold the move button when you get close to the end to make sure you move off the beam, or you will die. The rotating wheels frustrated the heck out of me until I realized that you have to move the sword down slowly when the first cut in the wheel comes around. This slows the speed of the spinning disks. The only really frustrating parts are the swinging axes and chains; plus the room where you have to hit the red eye with a rock and you are being chased by a dead zombie. That was truly frustrating. I made it to the end, so it can be done. I felt like I had beat the game, and it felt good. I was only really disappointed by the ending which I won't tell you about. I think it is a great game for iOS and is really clever and beautifully executed. I guess you will either hate it or like it. You have to at least try the game to find out. By the way, if you google walkthrough's for this game, you will find one. I used one I found online. This maker doesn't have one, but a link that takes you to their site.

Annoying!

The controls are awful and it consistently makes me lose my progress! Delete.

Fun and Immersive

NBM05

Great game, very fun and immersive. Graphics are fantastic, premise/story are interesting. Controls are great and work really well. I like the way the story incorporates character death so that dying doesn't break the immersion. Admittedly I'm not done yet, but I'm really enjoying it. The Room series of games are by far my favorite games on iOS, but this has some of the same type of atmosphere and sense of discovery.
