Download this app! Rafi is Amazing!!!

Would love to see vowel flashcards as well as the letter ones

Ahava Shira

Another nice addition would be some Judaism-related words written in block print with vowels for reading practice, for those of us for whom that is also a focus of study. And, to echo another comment, structuring it so that words you get right come up more infrequently would be nice, as in the app "Kanji Flip". Thanks for this, though!

One flaw...a big one...

Hopalong Rabinowitz

Nice app, with only one flaw...but it's a big one: there's no way to separate the words you know or have learned from the words that you want to review again. This makes the app useless for real learning. If the user could select out words for later study this would be a 5 star app.

Great; Perfect!

Hinders Fluency

languageandexpression

Second language acquisition will always be hindered by providing a translation or gloss in another language such as English. Use Hebrew and only Hebrew, spoken and written (in a Hebrew script, not transliterated), with pictures, sound effects and video to best acquire the language. Picture association is a great way to go. Start simple, with lots of repetition, then keep building up. This will build toward fluency. There is a great deal of research that shows this to be the case. Language software should be doing this kind of thing. If it's not, you are wasting your time, energy, and resources that could be used for actual fluency-building.

The app has a number of mismatched flash cards, as well as poor and inaccurate translations. For example: One flash card translates דרכון as "luggage" the correct translation is "passport" simply shoddy product Pro: it's free
