Best BP app out there

Blond37

Granted apps are subjective but I looked at several BP apps and like this best. Nice clean easy interface and best of all excellent charting reports. Update 2.11.16 Hi! A few weeks ago my doctor diagnosed me with high blood pressure and I began taking medication. I proactively searched, downloaded and been using your great app! Once a week or so I send her the beautiful, clear detailed report. Today we were talking about my medication dosage. Just before we hung up she asked what app I was using. I told her about it. She said it was very helpful and I should keep sending the reports. (Thanks for being so good you just created more work for me haha)

Easy to use, looks good, works well

HeartStar seems very good so far. It allowed me to import my existing readings (with notes) from a CSV file I had in Dropbox. It has nice graphs. It's very simple to enter BP readings manually (it can talk to some Bluetooth-enabled monitors, but I don't have one; I was able to tell it I will always enter readings manually, so now it goes directly to the manual-entry screen when I tap the button to take a reading). It let me email myself a very nice PFF of my readings, it can also export them to a CSV, and it synced the data to the Apple Health app (when I enabled that feature). Overall very professional.

One star morons!

Either you are trolling or truly f-ing morons. No wait, no one could be that stupid. This does a great job because it tracks for me and creates an exportable chart I can then share with my healthcare providers. Easy to use and straight to the point. The idiots who actually think you can capture a blood pressure reading with an iPhone, well at least I have a group of humans to which I feel superior.

Super

Works great for me and my needs

Fantastic

Those who gave one star because it dose not track or measure the blood pressure are totally misleading or they could be staff of competing company. It is YOU who needs to take the blood pressure and enter the record into the app. It will keep the track of your record and even email you the record as an Excel file. What do you need more from this tiny app. If you do not know how to use the app CORRECTLY, don't leave any review. This is a fantastic app that I am using everyday.

If it wasn't free...

It's just a data base. If you need an app to keep track of your blood pressure, this is just one of many and it doesn't cost anything, so go for it. But of course, you could do the same on a spreadsheet or even use a pen and paper. Not really worth the space on my phone, but it may be what you need...

Awesome!!

Best app I have used for logging my bp readings. It's user friendly, lets you set goals, and set up reminders. It does exactly what it is intended to do - keep a log of your bp with charts. So much easier than pen and paper which could easily get lost, torn or something spill on it.

Best app ever
