Computer opponents can be set to 3 skill levels. Point running totals and game scores are always visible on screen. From the maker of the popular Pinochle card games for iOS and Mac.
This special Gold edition is just like our free Hearts app, but with all advertising removed.
It froze up just trying to change the backs of the cards. That was a quick waste of $3.
Been loving this game for years. Last few days I play a few games and it freezes up. I delete the app, go to the App Store, redownload, play a few games and it freezes up again. Help!
I have to keep deleting it and reinstalling it. Otherwise it won’t start.
Three times I had to throw away this game and download again. Needs to fix this bug, it was my favorite version. Too frustrating to play with that keep happening.
I have not been able to play since the update two weeks ago. Fully updated iPhone X and 2018 iPad Pro. I have restarted the devices, restarted the game, and reinstalled - nothing works. Please get it fixed, I usually play daily!
I enjoy this version however there is one flaw in the software , that I have reported repeatedly, that has never been corrected. You can play hearts before they have been broken if the only hearts and the queen of spades remain. In settings I have set the other option that you must play the queen first to break hearts.
The three AI opponents are just plain stupid when it comes to passing cards. So frustrating to play against the three of them. I’ve had multiple games where AI’s have “shot the moon” 2-3 times in a single game as they pass between each other. They apparently never pass a low heart between themselves. Strange that when I pass to an AI they never shoot the moon unless I purposely give them cards to help them do so since it would then allow me to win. Time to look for a new game manufacture.
First off, I was surprised when East played hearts instead of following suit, ran out of hearts, then followed suit. Second, the only rules option available is whether to pass. No option for other rules variants that I'm familiar with, such as jack of diamonds. Third, it's missing simple features such as review last trick, or auto-play when either no more points are out or the remaining tricks are yours.
AI is terrible...I purchased this last night looking for a good Hearts game. What a disappointment...after playing several games my computer opponents shot the moon over 75 percent of the time. I would stop it when I could. However, the other computer opponents seemed content to let it happen and never tried to stop it unless it was me shooting the moon. Stay away from this one unless this gets fixed. Otherwise you will just get frustrated as I did...luckily I only wasted a dollar.
I have been looking for a good hearts game that you can play against the computer since I got an iPad. Instead I got this great one! Easy to play, easy to use cards, and so far smart opponents!
