What a great app to stay informed about events in our community. Boil Water advisories, traffic issues, school closings and the like that are relevant to me. Plus emergency notification too with maps and pictures. More states and counties need to get on board with this app.
I find this app to be a very useful way for my community leaders to keep residents in the know about weather, road conditions, school issues, and other topics.
I agree this is a useful app, but I’ve found it needs internet connection to work. I was in our car this evening trying to find out if roads were closed due to flooding from heavy rains. That was not possible without an Internet connection.
I find this very useful but am curious as to how to remove the old alerts. I tried using the remove button several times. It will say there are no more alerts but the next day or two, the old alerts are again on my phone
This is a great app to keep you updated on what is going on in the community. Would recommend everyone to download.
Excellent service for keeping up with emergencies, road closures, weather threats, Golden alerts, power outages, boil water advisories, and much more. BUT—when you first download the app, EVERY prior notification (for years) is listed. To delete, you must swipe, then press delete, then confirm “yes” for every single message. Must-have app, but please give us batch message delete.
I only care about current alerts, at most, only 7 days old. There is no need to see alerts since the service started. Please add a ‘delete all’ or limit how far back alerts are shown. You’ll earn 3 more stars when these suggestions have been implemented.
