This looks like a great game butThe d-pad controls don't work, very unresponsive you touch and touch slide and slide... nothing! Please fix the controls, this is unplayable in this state!

Very repetitive

I am having a hard time understanding the point of this game. What am I looking to achieve? I collect items and coins, but there is no apparent way to use them. I can't spend coins or buy new items. All I do is explore and fight, which gets repetitive. The artwork is very beautiful, and the controls aren't bad. It just feels like it needs more.
