Using the TrueDepth camera, Hawkeye Access brings gaze control to iOS without the need for any additional hardware. Intuitive interaction methods make it simple to control your device using eye movements. For people with motor impairments, this makes browsing the web much easier.

How it Works:

- The cursor shows where you’re looking on the screen.
- Just look at a button or link to highlight it.
- Select it by smiling, blinking, or holding your gaze.
- Scroll by looking at the edge of the device.
- Go back by looking at the left side of the device.
- Return to the home screen by looking at the bottom right corner of the device.
- Dictate searches and text fields.

Customizable:

- Adjust sensitivity.
- Pick selection mode.
- Configure timing.

For the best performance, use Hawkeye Access while sitting down and try to keep your head and device still.

Got through the calibration stage and wouldn't let me get past the selection page, it just kept refreshing and coming back over and over again.

I was trying out eye gaze apps with my son. It keeps wanting to recalibrate. That’s a bit frustrating- however, he did open Facebook and YouTube- that was exciting. I would be happy with a yes and a no for starting out though. A few bugs it seems- but hopeful it can be fine tuned to a practical functional app!

I love this app and it is very useful when I’m doing stuff with my hands but it doesn’t really work with my eyes, but it works fine to the movement of my head. So a solid 4 stars. And I also wish more apps could work with it too, Maybe messages or other apps like that.

Couldn’t get through the tutorial

I was unable to get through the tutorial! After going through the calibration the app wouldn't recognize my looking down and to the left to go to the home screen.

The idea is really cool, but the tracking can be iffy. It works ok if you constantly move your head to cancel out the pointer randomly moving around, and I think it could definitely be usable with a little bit of practice. I don’t think the other reviewers gave it enough of a chance to get the technique right.
