As soon as I unlocked this game, the hint button quit working. I use the hint button heavily. Very disappointed in this game, I should have listened to my gut and not bought this.

Overall I was pretty happy with this game, and I haven't been happy with a BF game in a while, so that's saying a lot. The puzzles were varied and along with the HO's were challenging enough without being impossible; the artwork was great; there were a few surprises in the storyline and the main game is pretty long with a lot of scenes. I found the map pretty helpful once I figured out that the pictures in color are the ones with active objectives. (there's no legend for the map) I also liked that the map only showed you places where you could actually do something right now, not just places where you have to do something eventually. What I didn't like: 1) The morphing objects: they don't so much morph as phase in and out, very slowly, and you can't tap on them when they've phased out. Some of them are really, REALLY small insignificant looking things (like a tiny pinecone on a tree full of pinecones) and it didn't seem like every scene had a morphing object, so you could sit for a long time just staring at a scene trying to figure out if some tiny detail was a morphing object. Given how many scenes there are that you go back and forth to, it would have been really helpful if the map indicated where morphing objects still were undiscovered. 2) some of the puzzles (like playing the organ) didn't have a good interface, and didn't register taps, but if you tap too much it registers that as a wrong answer. 3) the bonus chapter was silly, with no real story to it, and way too short. Still, I found it more challenging and engaging than any game I've played in a while, and I was pleasantly surprised. Oh, and the hint worked for me the whole time, there were no crashes and while the final scene of the bonus chapter froze up the first time, I restarted the app and it worked fine.

I knew it would come in handy again someday. I agree with reviewers who enjoyed the length of this game without too much complexity in the storyline. The premise of being trapped in a painting has been done before multiple times, but it's a nice portrayal here. There are some difficulties determining the level of religious undertones. It would be better (in my opinion) if it were more fundamentally defined, as in the Nicolas Eymerich or Dracula games, or more vague, as in Theater of the Absurd. Otherwise, it just becomes difficult to comprehend where the storyline is going (and why Death is female, which I personally am very much in favor of, with the culminated mythological renditions). Either way, that weird cupid-like "angel" looked incredibly ridiculous and completely unwarranted as the hint function.

Enjoyed playing it the first time until the Hint angel quit working so had to start over. I hate interruptions not impressed with this game at all.

After playing this game for a while the Hint button completely stopped working, any reason why? Please fix this issue! They fixed the issue with the Hint button and I happily played the whole game. It's been some time since TE had a game out and I was happy to see this one. I loved it!

This game seemed dated to me. After playing incredible games by EIPIX and Mad Head, I was not impressed. The basic premise is that you must save the souls of women trapped in paintings. The graphics were dark, although decently done, and the cut-scenes nothing special. It wasn't a very long game, even with bonus adventure. You could collect morphing objects (not me!) and pearls, which you needed to progress through the game. Loading was instantaneous between locations and there was a teleport map. For those of you who ran around, it was needless. If the location was in color, there was a task to be done. Inventory was labeled, but there weren't fun plus items to assemble. The HO scenes were very ordinary. Two types: silhouettes and word lists. Not very interactive. The puzzles to me were for the most part kind of boring. For those of you who dread creepy things besides just ghosts, there were spiders, worms, snakes and one RAT, which I managed to deal with fairly calmly. Snooper, you can play this game. One snake disappears by itself, and the other needs a flute to charm it. Not too bad! Anyway, I didn't care for this game but am looking forward to the new Dark Parables! For those of you who miss my anecdotes, here's one for you! Thursday we went to a club and two idiots brought in snakes. I told one it would make a gorgeous pair of shoes and he got scared of me and shoved 8 feet of snake under his shirt! Then my boyfriend said under no circumstances should I look anywhere but at him! I thought someone was maybe feeding one of the snakes and he said it had nothing to do with a snake! There was a RODENT (a hedgehog but it looked like a RAT) that was there as well! I said call 911 and started to hyperventilate. My boyfriend took out a concealed weapon and told them that it had better DISAPPEAR! They took it away, but I called the owner and lodged a complaint. I cannot be in the same room as a RODENT! I have managed to complete games with them but that was too close for comfort, lol! I send lots of ?❤️? to the Dream Team Elite, and to the other gamers who love me!
