A simultaneously hilarious and disturbing game.

Ashram12

I played the PC version of this game a few years ago. It was a bit of a hassle to set up on my computer because I actually have a MAC. With this mobile version, I don't have to worry about all these technical issues. The only thing I've noticed with this version is the text sometimes runs out of the text box. Anyway, for those who don't know: Hatoful boyfriend is a visual novel about a girl "dating" pigeons who can talk. This is a very strange and surprisingly complex story given the silly premise. Just for originality alone, i give it 5 stars, and if you have a sense of humor then definitely give this game a try. It's both a hilarious and disturbing experience.

I must not get it

Cvb177

Hi.. I don't mean to insult the game quality, it seems great. I am not familiar with Japanese dating games. I bought this because I loved Dropsy (despite the major bug at the end), and thought it would be a spoof or something interesting. I got up to the part with the 'punk pigeons' and gave up. There are virtually NO actions/choices to take. You are just tapping through really really silly grade-school level dialogue. If that's what a dating sim is, I was uninformed. It's really dull though.

Ryouta ending.

App crumbles

Yep. I got the Ryouta ending. I almost cried. 9999/10 would play again.

One of my favorite iOS games ever

Guilicious

Really an enjoyable experience. You need to unlock all of the endings to get the full experience, and there are over a dozen. The story is amazing and it makes one think about how normal day to day decisions can potentially have a drastic impact on the course of our lives. One other thing, I have now incorporated the word somebirdie into my day to day vocabulary, love it.

Experience the true ending

Therye1

The individual endings and story with each birdie are very amusing and cute in their own right but it's truly the final story, unlocked after you've gotten all the endings, that won me over for this game. It ties together everybirdie's subplots and personalities into an epic, deeply moving conclusion. After getting all the endings, start a new game and select "fulfill a promise" to play through the true story. If you haven't experienced that yet, you are missing a significant part of what this game is about.

Everybirdie Should Play This!

The A Game (Ash)

I saw a couple of the Youtubers I'm subscribed to start to play this game, but I felt like I was missing out on the real experience. When this game came out on iOS, I was thrilled to bits. Rushing out to buy an iTunes card, I immediately purchased the game. Although I completed it in just one day, I enjoyed every second.

SHUUU *chu!*

I love shuu so much thank you ~<3

I like it! But there's issues...

Joonkie

I enjoy this game quite a bit but I'm having a few problems. When the player character speaks to other characters it gets confusing because the little name tab on the upper left corner remains. I haven't gotten very far in the game but right after the protagonist starts thinking about midterms (this happens after the sports festival) the game freezes. What I mean by freezes is that it turns completely black and then even after waiting for a while nothing happens. Despite the problems the bird puns and character development so far seem pretty cool! Please fix the problems ASAP though, thank you!
