Wow this app is perfect. So organized and tons of ads. I've been through a few job apps trying to look for a second job and found nothing related to my area. It was always so annoying when I would put my location and would get ads from another state not even related to my field. I just downloaded this app and applied to 30 locations in Manhattan alone. Keeping my fingers cross.
Why have an app that doesn't work

70% of the jobs I try to apply to or shortlist I don't get to send an application to because the app shuts itself down before I can do anything. Everything else in the app works fine.....except applying to jobs. The whole point. Ridiculously annoying when you need a new job.
Glitch?

There currently may be a glitch in the app. I keep getting an “we miss you new jobs are waiting” notification while im using the app.

I give this 5 stars because they’re amazing at getting you MULTIPLE interviews quick and fast ! This app is so amazing but the only problem is picking a position you have to only pick one . It should be open to the diverse of jobs . Whether it’s the “ back of house “ or “ retail “ jobs . I wish you can just choose “ Open to all jobs “ as an option . BUT EITHER WAY HARRI IS THE BEST WAY TO FIND A JOB !!!
Dumb design decisions make it difficult to find jobs

There are two significant reasons why Harri is, I think, the worst job-searching app on the market. Both of them are easily fixable and completely baffling. 1. In order to even sign up for the app, you have to fill out a “previous restaurant experience” field. I had never worked in a restaurant prior to my last job, so I was unsure how to proceed during that time period when I was looking for a restaurant job. I had no experience to put, but there’s no “N/A” option. I wasn’t sure how that info would be surfaced to employers, so I didn’t want to lie for fear that I would be doing something akin to lying on my resume. 2. This is really the big one. You have to choose three, AND ONLY THREE, positions that you are looking for. So, for example, you might put “server/waiter, barista, bartender.” Those will then be the only job postings you see. This is stupid on a conceptual level, but it’s even worse because the list of options is really long with a lot of redundancy. Should I choose “server/waiter” or should I choose “crew member“? Because there are so many options, I always feel like I’m missing out on a ton of job postings that I would like to see. The result is that 95% of the time the front page of the app is empty and contains a message that the app is “looking for new jobs” or something. These absolutely mind-bogglingly stupid design choices make this app practically useless, which is a huge shame because I like the idea of a job-searching app specifically for the hospitality industry.

Interface and concept are great. Security seems to be a recurring issue for me. I'm regularly locked out of my own account and reset the password etc. but then the new password doesn't work after. Techs have fixed things fairly well each time but it's an annoyance especially if you're trying to get back to employers and can't. Newest version just doesn’t seem to work at all 90% of the time. 8/6/18. Something goes wrong about once a week and you can’t log in. Employers shouldn’t pay to place ads here since it’s expensive compared to other options and your applicants are locked out of their own profiles on a regular basis. 9/11/18

Only Works on Wifi

This app only works on wifi—not cellular network. Super annoying if you can only browse when you’re not at work.
Good app but too slow

I have used Harri for a long time and it has gotten me job interviews before. My problem is that in the beginning of when I just started using the app, it worked fine and nothing wrong was happening. Then as time passed, the app started glitching and becoming slower and slower. For example when you check your saved jobs to apply for, the app runs so slowly to open or close each job or to even get to the page. I hope they can fix how slow the app is.
