Can't Get the Game to Work

I used to play this game all the time so I redownloaded it and I can't get it to go past the very first screen. It asks me to build a Ferris wheel but it won't let me select the Ferris wheel and place it so I can continue. Please fix this so I may play this amazing game.

I have an iPhone 6s. At the beginning when you have to click on the Ferris wheel the whole thing freezes. It won't let me click on anything. Other reviews also say the same thing. Please fix! Would love to actually play the game:)
