The goal of hanjie is to blacken the squares of a grid according to the numeric clues on the left side and above the grid.
Once you have resolved the grid you will see a drawing that will reward all the long minutes of thinking!
Hanjie Star gives you up to 280 gorgeous hanjie puzzles with a size from 5x5 to 25x25, 60 hanjie puzzles are available freely.

I've now played all the puzzles in the original game and willmtry to get some of the expansion packs. I like the way you can automatically fill in or erase questionable squares. The grid itself can be a bit touchy and I have to be careful not to mark an unwanted square sometimes. The shaded numbers telling you what has been filled in can be misleading. Picross does a better job with that.

Hint are off.fills in squares where they don't belong. They make you pay for extra hints and u need them to solve some puzzles. Some are free but they make u purchase more if u wanna play longer. By the time your done you will pay in the double digits for this app plenty of other free ones that cost way less for in app purchases. I like the game but it needs to be fixed and make it cheaper to play.
Laggy, poor color scheme

It is hard to match up clues with columns/rows. You can't highlight the row/column that you are on, and the color scheme doesn't mark off blocks of 5 once you start filling in squares. So it's too easy to fill in a row/column using clues from a neighboring row/column. While the mini picture is nice, it lags out filling squares so much it skips squares when you try to fill in a bunch at a time. Honestly, the mini picture isn't necessary. I can see the picture just fine from the main grid. Otherwise, this app has some really nice puzzles and decent controls.

I wish we could just buy the game for one price rather then having to pay for each pack. I like the picture grid, and the controls work really well. By far this app has the most creative nonogram puzzles.
