Misrepresents Me

HWF is not real Hangman but is an interesting take on it. You can't put in any word you want against your opponent. You must use the small subset of random letters it gives you to make one up. The game play and interface work well and the 3 "cheater" options (free at first but later use up your pseudo-money) make for some fun saves. But WORST is that the program will send messages to your friends which, if not read very carefully, make it look like a friend is asking to play a game. I hate when apps say, "Pete invites you to play..." when you have not invited anyone yourself. In this case it's, "Pete is looking for a game!" The latter was initiated by the program - very bad taste in software behavior. If I want to play someone, I will send them a message thank you very much. For this reason I ranked it a 2 - just inexcusable. UPDATE: After putting in this review months ago, the game keeps asking if I will write a review. I keep selecting "Remove from list" but it keeps asking. Not good.
Frustrating ads

Fun game but if you're going to advertise it should be done with integrity. There shouldn't be ads that have icons made to look like they will close out the ad but don't. I understand that by choosing to use the free version you are accepting the fact that there will be ads, however, I don't see a need for trickery. It's backhanded and creates a negative experience with regard to the game and whatever is being advertised.

For crap sakes...when are the new missions coming out? I've played all the missions and there hasn't been any new ones for over a year - come on people!

Lately it says, like that one opponent played 3 days ago, when I know for a fact she just played. And she said it told her I played two days before, when I had played today! Just started happening.
Great game. Adds are too long.

Although this is my favorite game, I only rated it with 4 stars because of the long repetitive ads.
