I played hanafuda with my japanese grandfather and this brings back wonderful memories. I now play with my mother who is 80. And it keeps us in touch. She plays online and has over 1000 games played.

I had only played with physical cards prior to this app but it works great on the iPhone 4S. Group play also works well but I recommend using the web version not the Bluetooth as the Bluetooth version frequently loses its connection even when you were right next to your opponent.

Hanafuda was played when I was a child my grandmother would play it during her lunch break on the lotus farm that is how I learned the game This app is even better because it keeps score and you can play against the computer It is very entertaining keeps me up at night Thanks for the app I wish my grandmother was here to challenge?
