This visual design is a bit different from Hachihachihana, the defining feature of Echigohana is that there are Chaff cards that depict classical Japanese Waka and entirely gold and silver colored.

There are about 20 different background music tracks(BGMs), including Japanese Festival Music composed using Japanese Instruments. The Japanese instruments used include the Japanese zither (koto), the three-stringed banjo (shamisen), the vertical bamboo flute (shakuhachi) and the drum.
This app also includes a custom playlist function that allow you to select your favorite BGMs and order them as you like.

It's a good game to pass time during travels and even when you have a night to yourself. Playing by yourself can be challenging, but playing against a computer can be too.

Since no one I know in my town has any idea how to play hanafuda, this app is saving me from a hanafudaless existence. It's fun and simple and doesn't require explaining the game to anyone. Yay!

Hanafuda definitely uses a lot more wits than other gaming apps and it's definitely something you can easily get addicted to. The background music is actually surprisingly SO catchy and I legitimately want to listen to it even when I'm not playing. The app is great (although if you ever try to play Hanafuda using a deck you might have a harder time as you have to do more thinking) but this is certainly a loyal adaptation of the original game. In-app purchases are annoying but technically, none of them are essential so the gaming experience is great without them.

Great game but needs a tutorial

Like the title says, I love this game but I would like to see a tutorial added because when I first started using the app, I had to use YouTube just to figure it out how to play. Love the game even more now that is makes better sense, the help section helped a lot too.
