Swift Upgrade to Fix Issues with iOS 12

This is a FABULOUS app‼️I enjoy making my creations into both PDF docs and JPEGs. (I turn off halftone when I want “high def photo quality”.) It makes great 4x6 photos on my Kodak Dock & Wi-Fi photo printer. (I make personal reminders, reference instructions, book summary highlights, motivational inspirations, and social media postings.) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ??.

I love this app. Simple, but does its job well. It has been crashing lately though. Bummer.

Can’t change image import size

I have the Xs Max and the setting for image import size is not working. Hence l, it is stuck on the “medium” setting. The app also is laggy.

I have both Halftone and Halftone 2. I loved Halftone. It was very intuitive and easy to use. No so with 2. I hate that circular control panel. Both apps crashed with the iOS update. They fixed it for 2, but I see that the original is not even available anymore. Please fix Halftone.

Halftone 1 is more usable

The second version, halftone 2 does not update the final appearance of the piece as you work so you have to know what everything does, then compile and see if you like the output. Halftone 1, while having less abilities, at least shows exactly what you are doing and so I have gone back to it

No longer works

This is a great app that unfortunately, no longer works. I loved it. Sadly, I can no longer open any saved files or to create a new one. Deleting and reinstalling does not work either. Hopefully the developers can do something about it. Otherwise it's quite a waste

New Content?

I’d have given the app 5 stars if it for the fact that the developers appear to be unconcerned about the creation of new or additional content. While they have a couple of packs you can purchase that provide some additional layout options and graphics, they haven’t released any additional content in the year or more I’ve been using the app. Barring fresh content to keep interest high, it leaves the user responsible to create their own png graphics to festoon comics. And while that is a-ok given the functionality of the app, it would be nice to see some new content offered.
