You have to have your volume on for screen saver mode to work... but it doesn't work half the time anyways. Then when you know it should be time to change and you swipe your phone to check.. the app crashes.
I loved this app but since I updated my phone it is not compatible. Please update soon.
This is a BEAUTIFUL app to help push you through the entire 12 weeks!
I was a couch potato most of the time and the idea of running was a distant one, it is just not for me. Then i realized i can do it too and really like this applicattion. It does not expect you to jump from couch potato to Gold medalist. Working out 3x a week and it will advise on how long to jog and then walk at the beginning. I am just starting week two tomorrow and really look forward to those extra 30 sec jogging. I have an iPad so this does not help me, but if you have an iPhone then the voice (you can choose male or female) will tell you when to switch. Highly recommend to starters like me.
The park. I have an itouch and when there's no wifi, there's no play button. I run on a treadmill one every two years or so and at least twice a week at the park. If it worked away from wifi, I'd give it at least four stars.
Good app for beginning runners wanting to build up their distance. Had a hard time hearing prompts at the beginning, went to in app settings and changed to voice from male to female and turned up voice volume. No more complaints!
Helps get the job done without all the bells and whistles. That's all you really need.
