* A Unique Action Puzzle Game *
Halcyon is named for the mythological bird of ancient Greece, said to charm the winds and seas into a calm during the Winter Solstice.
Gameplay is one part spacial action puzzler and one part interactive stringed instrument combined in an experience designed specifically for the iPad.
Colored currents travel inexorably toward each other. Strum the strings to match the currents, creating both phonic and visual harmony.

Take on the role of the Halcyon, conducting nature, untangling currents, and bringing calm to the wind, sea, land, and stars.

* A Generative Musical Instrument *
Halcyon features a complete generative soundtrack that becomes an instrument when you play the game. Since its designed to accompany you while you play, you'll create tranquil sonic landscapes as you travel along.

* Tons of Gameplay *
: 36 Levels through Four Environments
: Two Endless Modes that dynamically adjust difficulty based on how you are doing
: A Twelve Song Generative Soundtrack
: OpenFeint + Game Center

Please update to iOS11

Was one of my top games on my old iPad and I would give it five stars but it will not work on the new operating system. Please update so I can change the rating to 5 stars!

Great
Ivwri

This app is really nice. So tactile and intuitive. Love the aural ambience as well. I encountered what I assume to be a weird glitch though. While playing normal I lost and was then given a huge score (and I haven't finished the second area, the Sea) and it submitted it to Open Feint so now I am ranked #1 with 22,300 points. Don't know how that can be fixed. Great game though!

Bliss
Glorns

This is such an amazing game. I ended up doing 2 player with my girlfriend and it was a frickin barrel of monkeys.

Halcyon high
Djflippy

I'm speechless. Games as beautifully engaging and creative as Halcyon are rare; instantly approachable, startlingly fresh, and it provides a genuinely unique and rewarding experience. The Halcyon days truly are here. Anyone that thinks video games can't be art are playing the wrong games.

Dios Mio!

This update really makes the game flow much better. I'm loving the difficulty progression. I love when developers revisit apps and listen to feedback from reviews.

Restful?! NOT!
Art5555

Billed as relaxing and soothing, this is simply a redundant exercise in trying to keep ahead of ever increasing collisions. Does it get better or different at other levels? Who knows? You have to beat the first (boring repetitive) level -- no way to say "no thanks," and see the next level. Save your cash.

You need to play this enough to get in the groove to see its genius. Wait till you're comfortably using multiple fingers in up/down strums--it's gaming nirvana.

Top 25
run!!

I don't get this isn't in the top 25 games amazing I like how it has like levels and endless hard and endless easy great game

Great game, a bit tough for the color-blind
Sean Garland

Great game, wildly entertaining. Some of the color choices do make it difficult for us color-blind folks, especially in the Land level. But that's the only issue I have. Really challenging.

Brilliant!
MasterTzu

Easy to learn, hard to put down, excellent quality, unique, brilliant. Relax, don't focus, let your subconscious take over while your conscious mind takes a break. A must experience for anyone, particularly visually oriented thinkers.
