I originally downloaded this for my iPhone and really enjoyed it but it had it's flaws i.e. Wasn't able to activate certain switches. I decided to get the HD iPad version and I'm glad I did. This version does not share the flaws of the iPhone version. This game is a super cool retro FPS. I absolutely love the old school graphics and the great level design. Lots of secrets to be found here too which is a nice break from all the shooting (Plenty of that in here too!). This is one of those games you just have to play. In my opinion the HD version only has one flaw- it's FREE. This game should cost something. There is too much value here to simply be free. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually acquired a price tag because it's worth it. Get it while it's free, you're crazy if you don't.
New game with an old school style

I'm usually very iffy when it comes to downloading and playing a free game on the iPad. Usually it's very bad or just annoying to play. This isn't the case with this game. I enjoyed the clean visuals and sounds of the game and really held it's own. From the guns, to the enemies, to even the levels, the texture quality is top notch for and old style fps. The multiplayer is great being able to bring a buddy into the fray in coop or get everyone in on an all out deathmatch. This game offers so much more then I expected when I first start. Right from the very start as the first level loaded I was impressed with this game. The game keeps itself interesting with it's strange enemies and even stranger levels. I have found myself kind of hooked to this game and I'm really surprised it has a free price tag cause it handles like a pay-for game. All and all the controls can be a bit of a pain trying to maneuver in small hallways but once you get the hang of it that issue doesn't bug you much. As for bugs and issues with the game I couldn't find any and I haven't had a single crash. All in all it's a really entertaining game and I would suggest it to anyone who is an fps fan on the iPad of iPod. 4/5 great game.

This looked very interesting from the pictures, plus it's free so I was like why not download it? It's a very well done Doom clone or mod since it uses the doom source code. Very smooth framerate, good graphics, great enemies, level design, weapons, GET IT WHILE IT'S FREE! Did I mention there's multiplayer?!

So it's a free fps on the iPad. But beyond that, this does nothing for me. It will make you dizzy turning around, you can't adjust vertical look, and the graphics are flat out awful. If you want a good fps on the iPad, keep an eye out. Every now and then a decent one will show up (I.e. contract killer zombies currently, previously call of duty zombies, etc.)
