GwimpyAlphabet
GwimpyAlphabet is an application designed to help your child recognise and recall the letters of the alphabet. They also get the opportunity to trace each letter, upper and lowercase, using either a finger or a stylus pen, this is discretely monitored and a mastery mark is awarded which can be saved to your picture folder. Each letter is accompanied by the equivalent phonic sound and word characterised in a graphic for Gwimpy to collect! Each letter of the word can be touched to repeat the phonic sound.

My grandchildren and some adults have had hours of fun both contributing to and playing the game. In our experience the application is best played with an adult as you would reading a book. A special mention to Richard O my resident graphics person who is incredibly patient and talented.
