Buyer beware I had the same issue with it crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled finally it's working I had all the lanes purchased and lost everything. The developer pretty much is of no help. He wants you to call apple who says to call the developer.

Started playing this on PC years ago and was pleased that they ported it to ipad. Despite the other reviews, there is nothing wrong with this app, weeks every time.
Please fix!

Have this game (paid version) on all of our MacBook Pro computers and just put it on our iPad air and the game crashes every time we open it. Or my favorite, a black screen with the music playing. When you first open game it appears to be fine, but after loading you get a mostly blank black screen with just a header that gives option of seeing latest news, etc. click on those and you get a full blank black screen. If you click on "next" nothing happens. So frustrated. Contacted developer, Skunk Games, and they said it should work but to keep checking back as a new update should fix any issues. So far, no update and no fix. I hate it when you purchase games and in app purchases and then the game doesn't work. Our entire family loves this game and have used it on a daily basis as it is the best bowling game out there. Will change the review to 5 stars when the game works on the iPad. Please help! (IPad Air 2)

I have Gutterball for the iPod 4 and love it. It'so a great bowling game, and I think it's way better than any of others in the App Store. I got the paid edition for the iPad and the first thing I noticed was that I didn't have the promised 10,000 golden pins. I only had 1000. Second, the names glow weirdly on the select players and the voices aren't loud enough anywhere but Retro alley. Like I said, it's a great game but they need to fix these things and give me the promised golden pins. :)

I had never enjoyed bowling until this app. My speech therapy clients have really had a blast playing it. Their language skills have really opened up and improved as we have played. BTW it has never crashed on us.

By far this is my favorite bowling game. And I've tried pretty much all of them. But, (here it comes) there should be more realistic alleys rather than outdoors or other unreal bowling alleys. Add a oil level feature to alley setting. The ball graphics never gets rid of the "?" On the ball.other than this its a great game.

I have a bit of the problem when I try to custom a ball and look at the bling no hats and things get even worst when I exit and come back it say do you want to exit and your ball will be lost I click no and I'm stuck yep I'm stinked can you fix the bug pls if you do I'm happy I'm not stinked so fix the bug right now
