This game is awesome but it needs more updates there are lots of bugs that have to be fixed.
Developers take note. Make ads optional or provide a way to buy around them. Popping them up regularly is not enjoyable. I will spend on good titles on their own without ads.
Bad game design. Getting killed in the FIRST dungeon by an enemy with 5x more LIFE is PROOF that this game is pay to win. Deleted. Not going to reward greed.
It just got an update and now crashes on the caves. I don't know about the other rating but it is not that hard to play.
It's a fun game but I am sure the AI is programmed to cheat. Almost every move I make just sets up skulls for the AI when it's turn is up. I get very few move choices but the AI always has.
Full disclosure: I *love* match3 RPGs, played Puzzle Quest for years. And finally, there's a great new one - deep story and mechanics and done with love and respect for the genre. Didn't see heavy monetization yet - some bosses are tough but in a good way, as a challenge to beat.
The in game challenges are actually ridiculously easy to do but the game is ruined by durability and storage space. Both are upgrade able by real money only only. Well the storage box can be upgraded if you add friends from Facebook but spamming people to add you to send you stuff is just too much. There doesn't seem to be any special items that can't be broken so why would I buy an item for 10$ just to have it break two maps later? Someone will probably say but you can use resources... Just wait till you open the first three spaces.
It’s a nice combination of match 3 with an RPG. Story is a bit silly but it’s a nice diversion. Don’t expect to be able to play deeply into the game without shelling out money. On my iPad I paid $15 for the “premium” version with no ads and 1/3 chance for a gold coin after every battle. I also bought a chunk of gold when it went on sale. That’s gotten me well into Episode 2. On my iPhone I haven’t paid any money and rather quickly I’ve reached a point where it is impossible to progress. Worth the money to me, but don’t expect a free game.
