Excellent game but it won’t open

I play the game on iPhone 8 with the latest iOS update and none of the variations (navy, VPAF, etc) will open. How can I fix this?

Sorta annoying that the only fixed wing aircraft you can fly is a prop aircraft, when your enemy is outfitted with Jets. I have both apps for the United States and NVA and just think a free United States jet would be nice.
