That's a bug???

Game was working great. Downloaded update, simply said "Minor bug fixes." Apparently the ability to actually play the game was considered a bug. Ipad 1st gen, ios 5.1.1, game now shows Rebellion logo and Loading before freezing and exiting. Thankfully, I did not purchase any IAPs, so I didn't lose any money on this, but the time spent playing and the progress I made will be soreley missed if I can no longer play the game. Please fix, okay?
