ipad update 11.3 bug

The latest ipad update, 11.3 has caused guitartapp to lock every time I open it. Only fix I have found is to press the home button twice and clear all open apps and then re-open guitartapp. Then it will work until I move to another app and come back to it where it will be locked again. Really frustrating when it happens during a gig. I’m getting the impression there is no one minding the app any more. Most all FAQs on their web page are no more recent than 2015. Too bad because it was really useful until this 11.3 problem.

Until I’m able to find a song and start scrolling it with one or two quick taps, this app has no value whatsoever.

Cannot open songs!!

Works perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy S8, but when I try to open a song on my iPad I get an error message saying "'Undefined' is not an object", whatever that means. In other words, the app is non-usable. I certainly don't want to have to use my phone on stage!

This is where I keep and manage basically every song I know how to play. I had hundreds of songs saved on Android, and when I moved to iOS the sync feature made it a seamless transition. The catalog has almost any popular song you can think of. If it's in the wrong key I use the transpose function.

Half of the stuff in here is so dumbed down and in many cases, absolutely wrong, It is not worth using. in one case according to this the song chorus just drags on on the four chord and does not even resolve on the tonic. The licks are wrong. I would tell you that if you want to learn a song, try to find a video of the artist doing it acoustic on YouTube or something. And watch and take notes and write your own tab out. That way you will learn all the nuances, hammers and slides, riffs - The actual correct chords to the song. Its harder that way but well worth it.

I like this app but since I updated to iOS 11, it’s slow and every time I minimize it and reopen it later, it doesn’t do anything, so I have to close it and reopen it.

This app is part of my daily life now. Don’t know what I would do without it. My phone, my iPad, and my laptop all sync. I link to a flatscreen and others can sing along. My only wish is they’d make it so the search has autocorrect or similar. I don’t always know how the song titles are stored or written. Also, be nice if one could quickly save to a particular set list directly from the song page instead of going through saving to favorites then adding it from the setlist. It’s very time consuming and I value my limited guitar time. Love this app though.

Great app for organizing songs and set lists. Text editor is fairly convenient once you learn how. Would recommend highly to anyone. Only complaint is it isn't supported on a MacBook
