Never works. Always shows connection error failed to connect microphone even though permission is allowed. Also requests for app link code every time it starts up which is stupid. Consider remembering the link.

So this stupid company cannot even make an app that can connect to the Internet. They keep claiming they have resolved the problem. But obviously testing is not a part of their process. This app is GARBAGE!

Well, reviews here complain about this app. One other guy claimed there was a solution, but that didn't work for me. The app is absolutely great, it's just that hooking it up is a pain in the butt. Fortunately, I found a solution that's pretty simple. Start it up w/o WiFi, go through all your steps until you reach the code entry screen. Then turn on the WiFi network your console is hooked up to and voilà! Your thingie should be workin' just fine! If not, that's another problem you have. Good luck! P.S.: C'mon, devs.

I just got guitar hero live today and I downloaded this app and it is really awesome! I didn't have any problems expect right before I was about to get off it lost connection but I would say it stayed connected for about an hour so overall super cool and fun and makes the game more fun!!!

I would love to use this "companion" app but apparently they can't figure out how to make it connect to wifi. And when your console and devise have to be connected to the same network that's kinda of a big problem.... Please fix it so I can use it. Then I'll give an actual review of the app....

I was curious about what the button 3 (options button) on the guitar controller "link code" meant. I down loaded the ap and it has made GHL that much more entertaining! People the rip on it probably have no idea what they are doing and can't figure it out. Once the ap is installed, you will get that access code on your PS4/Xbox, enter it, and your phone will work with the unit to allow you to sing along while someone rocks the guitar. This is going to make parties that much more entertaining. The phone will only work as a microphone. It will pair with the device and the lyrics will run across the top of your screen showing you what notes you should be hitting while you sing.

The app will not connect to Internet for me to use the access code from Xbox. I have checked several times to ensure my phone is connected to the Internet before attempting to open the app. The app gives no other options to try and only shows the loading screen then the error message. I would love for this app to be fixed.
